Job summary

TUTCO, LLC in the greater Chicago area is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair heat strip equipment at customer sites.

You will serve as the technical liaison, performing tests, commissioning, and providing on-site training while coordinating with engineering, support, and logistics. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Experience with troubleshooting technical equipment or systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Job Summary

The Field Service Engineer will install, maintain, and repair equipment on-site at customer locations. They serve as a key technical contact between the company and the customer.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission equipment at client locations
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or technical issues
• Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
• Provide technical support and training to customers
• Document service visits, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, support, logistics)
• Travel to customer sites as needed
