Job summary

API Heat Transfer in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support aftermarket sales by handling inquiries, quoting parts, and processing orders. You will work closely with customers and sales reps to ensure accurate pricing and timely orders, gaining product knowledge along the way.

The role emphasizes learning the heat transfer product line, cross-functional collaboration, and maintainingAftermarketQuote logs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent industry experience.
• At least two years of customer service experience in a professional environment and/or manufacturing company preferred.
• Experience in supporting internal and external customers; Heat exchange or mechanical knowledge highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Handle General Phone & E-Mail Inquiries regarding orders from customers and sales representatives
• Quote Aftermarket Spare Parts (Gaskets, O-rings, Seals, Standard Bonnets, Zinc Anodes, Tube Plugs, Separators, Plate Packs, etc) including cross referencing current and old part numbers and obtaining quotes from Vendors
• Review and accurately enter Aftermarket Spare Parts Orders
• Assist with maintenance of Aftermarket Quote Log
• Review Spare Parts Orders for On Time Shipments & Gross Margins and report findings/issues
• Coordinate and perform the sales team activities associated with the RMA process

• Pay Range: Min $22 per hour - Max $27 per hour

What You Will Do:

TheCustomer ServiceRepresentative provides the necessary customer service support to both customers and sales representatives for aftermarket sales. This includes but is not limited to quoting aftermarket spare parts and reviewing and entering aftermarket spare parts orders. This is a great opportunity to learn about and develop expertise in this product line by working directly with customers, products, and pricing. Key responsibilities will include:

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk within both office and production floor environments.
• Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
• Visual acuity for screens and documents.
• Ability to wear PPE on the shop floor.
• Frequent use of hands for typing and document handling.
