Job summary

York Container is seeking a motivated Customer Service Supervisor to lead the CS/QA Support Specialist and project coordinators in York, PA. The role includes hiring, coaching, and resolving customer issues to maintain high service levels.

You will coordinate with Sales, Design, Scheduling, Production and Logistics to ensure accurate order processing, inventory management, and timely delivery while maintaining department budgets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years Customer Service experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong computer skills including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Customer Service Department including coordinators and CS/QA staff.
• Liaise between Sales, Design, Scheduling, Production and Logistics.
• Attend daily production/shipping meetings to ensure on-time delivery.
• Gather information for customers and track purchase patterns.
• Improve processes with internal departments and resolve issues.
• Manage customer inventory and over-run finished goods.
• Budget for the Customer Service Department and support RFQs.
