Job summary

Gradian is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to lead standard costing across two manufacturing plants in Dayton, MN. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, and Finance to improve cost visibility and profitability.

You will develop and maintain standard cost models, drive inventory valuation accuracy, and support month-end close and project costing for bids and new products, shaping the company's cost discipline.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing cost accounting experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Experience implementing and maintaining standard costing systems.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, BOMs, routings, labor standards, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and ongoing management of standard costing across facilities.
• Design and deploy standardized costing policies, procedures, and controls.
• Provide project costing support for customer quotations and bids.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to improve cost visibility and performance.
• Support month-end close activities related to inventory and manufacturing accounting.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Sales to ensure costing accuracy.
