Job summary

Gradian Thermal Solutions is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to lead standard costing across two manufacturing plants and drive cost visibility for operations. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, and Finance to improve margin analysis and implement costing controls.

You will develop and maintain standard cost models, support month-end close, and provide actionable variance analysis to guide pricing, budgeting, and strategic decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing cost accounting experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience preferred.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Experience implementing and maintaining standard costing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of standard costing across a low volume high cost manufacturing organization.
• Design and deploy standardized costing policies, procedures, and controls across multiple facilities.
• Establish governance in inventory valuation, labor costing, overhead allocation, and product costing.
• Develop and maintain standard cost models for raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Ensure alignment of costing methodologies across all plants and business units.
• Provide project costing support for customer quotations and bids.
