Job summary

Vitesse Systems, LLC seeks a Divisional Accounting Manager for the Longmont, CO site to lead cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing financial reporting. This role drives accurate product costing, analyzes variances, and provides financial insights to improve profitability and cost controls.

The position reports to the Controller within the Accounting/Finance department, supervises accounting staff, and collaborates with program management, operations, and supply chain to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Epicor ERP experience required.
• Advanced competency in Excel required.
• Experience managing inventory accounting and inventory account controls required.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Maintain GL and COA within ERP across the C5ISR unit.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and schedules.
• Manage cost accounting for manufacturing operations and analyze variances.
• Monitor COGS and product margins.
• Oversee AP and AR workflows and vendor payments.
• Develop management reports and dashboards for operational performance.
