Job summary

Vitesse Systems is seeking a Divisional Accounting Manager in Longmont, CO to lead cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting for manufacturing operations. You will own month-end close, POC accounting for long-term contracts, and ERP data integrity while partnering with operations and program teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Epicor ERP experience required.
• Advanced competency in Excel required.
• Experience managing inventory accounting and inventory controls required.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close process with journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and monitor COGS and margins.
• Oversee AP and AR processing, vendor payments, and collections.
• Prepare monthly manufacturing cost reports and variance analyses.
• Develop and maintain ERP reports for leadership; ensure ERP data integrity.
• Own percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting for applicable contracts.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing costs, inventory, and COGS.
• Directly manage a team of accounting staff and drive performance.
