Job summary

Haulotte Bil-Jax is seeking an experienced Cost & Finance Accountant to lead manufacturing-cost accounting for our Scaffolding Division. This hands-on role partners with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance to analyze costs, inventory, and margins, connecting financial results to floor activities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cost accounting within manufacturing, with strong knowledge of standard costing, PPV analysis, and ERP experience (Epicor).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Manufacturing cost accounting experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, WIP accounting, manufacturing variances, Purchase Price Variance, manufacturing overhead, COGS, and profitability analysis.
• Experience supporting or leading month-end close.
• Experience working with manufacturing and operational teams.
• Ability to analyze financial results and explain operational drivers.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the division's standard costing system.
• Analyze actual manufacturing costs vs standards and investigate variances.
• Review overhead rates and cost allocations.
• Lead month-end close and financial reporting for the division.
• Forecasting and budgeting for the division.
• Develop financial models to support capacity, production, and pricing decisions.
• Provide analysis of product profitability and customer impact.
