Job summary

Haulotte Bil-Jax is seeking a hands-on Cost & Finance Accountant to support our Scaffolding Division. You will analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, profitability, forecasting, and business performance while partnering with Operations and Finance.

In this role you will manage standard costing, month-end close, and reporting, and develop dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and ERP data to drive cost visibility and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience with manufacturing cost focus.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, WIP, variances, and COGS.
• Experience with month-end close and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to partner with operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory accounting, WIP, cycle counts, reconciliations, and controls.
• Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and management analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and profitability analysis.

• Collaborate with Operations to improve cost visibility and performance.

Haulotte Bil-Jax is seeking a hands‑on Cost & Finance Accountant to support our Scaffolding Division. This role partners closely with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance to analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, profitability, forecasting, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage standard costing, manufacturing variances, PPV, and product profitability analysis.
• Oversee inventory accounting, WIP, cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory controls.
• Lead month‑end close, financial reporting, account analysis, and management reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and profitability analysis.
• Develop financial reporting and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and ERP data.
• Partner with Operations to improve cost visibility and operational performance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong manufacturing cost accounting experience required.
• Knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, WIP, manufacturing variances, and COGS.
• Experience with month‑end close and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work closely with manufacturing and operational teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Controller, Plant Controller, Cost Accounting Manager, or Senior Cost Accountant experience.
• Manufacturing ERP experience (Epicor preferred).
• Power BI experience.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
