Job summary

Stolle Machinery Company, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Cost Engineer to develop and maintain cost estimates for new and existing products, processes, and projects. You will support quoting, production planning, and cost-reduction decisions by evaluating materials, labor, equipment, routings, overhead, and methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience interpreting blueprints, BOMs, routings, and material requirements.
• Cost engineering, estimating or project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for new projects and changes by analyzing drawings, routings, materials, labor and overhead.
• Provide cost inputs for quotations using current material costs and production data.
• Compare actual costs to estimates; analyze variances and advise corrective actions.
• Review processes and layouts to identify efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
• Maintain routings, process data, and cost records in ERP systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and operations to align cost objectives.
