Job summary

CDI Products, a Michelin Group Company, seeks a Cost Accountant to maintain accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost analysis to support financial reporting and operational decision-making.

This role collaborates with Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to ensure costs are recorded, analyzed, and reported, and will play a key part in month-end close and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years cost accounting experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial data analysis.
• Strong Excel skills including pivots and lookups.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Perform month-end close activities and cost variances analysis.
• Reconcile inventory valuation and related GL accounts.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and explanations.
• Identify process improvements in accounting operations.
