Job summary

Envases Commerce, LLC in Waco, TX is seeking a Cost Accountant to support our high‑volume aluminum end manufacturing facility. You will develop and maintain standard cost systems for finished goods and WIP, analyze production variances, and ensure accurate inventory valuation in line with GAAP/IFRS where applicable.

This role collaborates with operations and finance on budgets, forecasts, and cost improvement opportunities, leads monthly close journal entries and COGS reporting, and ensures ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
• GAAP knowledge related to cost accounting and inventory valuation.
• Advanced Excel and SAP experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze the standard cost system for finished goods (can ends) and WIP inventory.
• Conduct deep analysis of production variances, including material usage variance and labor efficiency.
• Manage the valuation of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, performing reconciliations.
• Lead cost-related activities for the monthly financial close, including journal entries and COGS reporting.
• Collaborate with operations and finance to develop annual budgets and forecasts for material, labor, and overhead costs.
