Job summary

Amsted Automotive is seeking an experienced accountant to manage inventory costs, analyze variances, and support month-end close processes. You will reconcile costs for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods while partnering with engineering and manufacturing to update BOMs and standard costs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, with 3+ years in finance/accounting and strong SAP and Excel skills. CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required.
• CPA is preferred and helpful for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze costs and variances across material, labor, and overhead.
• Assist month-end close and prepare journal entries.
• Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Support BOM updates, routings, and standard cost setting in collaboration with engineering and manufacturing.
• Assist with internal audits, GAAP compliance, and process improvements.
• Provide data-driven insights to management and support special projects as needed.
