KC Elite Staffing LLC is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Cost Accountant to manage manufacturing costs, inventory accounting, financial reporting, and cost analysis to boost efficiency and profitability. Qualifications

• Familiarity with standard costing, cost variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Understanding of inventory reconciliation, WIP, and general ledger accounting.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with accounting, operations, and engineering teams.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and analyze standard costs, job costs, BOMs, labor rates, and manufacturing overhead.
• Investigate material, labor, freight, and overhead cost variances and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Reconcile inventory, WIP, and manufacturing-related general ledger accounts.
• Monitor inventory valuation, scrap, obsolete inventory, and cycle-count adjustments.
• Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Analyze gross margins, job profitability, purchase price variances, and manufacturing performance.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to improve costing accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, product costing, and pricing decisions.
• Develop financial reports and dashboards to monitor costs, margins, and key performance indicators.
• Support inventory audits, internal controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Overview
