Job summary

Mopec Group is seeking a Director, Corporate Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations, including close cycles, AP/AR, and liaising with auditors and tax advisors. This hands-on leadership role requires strong manufacturing accounting expertise and team development for a five-person finance group.

Reporting to the CFO, you will ensure GAAP compliance, robust internal controls, and accurate financial reporting, with preparedness for QoE reviews and consolidation across platforms such as

Qualifications

• CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• External audit experience – Big 4 preferred, regional at minimum.
• Corporate accounting experience with ownership of month-end close and financial reporting.
• Manufacturing industry experience required.
• 2+ years in management of corporate accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close.
• Maintain general ledger, chart of accounts, and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Establish internal controls and accounting policies; document procedures.
• Oversee AP and AR operations, manage working capital improvements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants; QoE readiness.
