Vista Metals, Inc. seeks a capable Controller to lead and manage our accounting function within a manufacturing setting. The role balances high-level financial strategy with day-to-day manufacturing accounting and benefits administration.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing, strong job costing expertise, and a proven record of managing health care renewals and a 401(k) plan. ERP proficiency and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing
• Strong expertise in manufacturing job costing and inventory accounting (standard costing, variance analysis)
• Proven experience managing employee benefits, health care renewals and 401k plan administration
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to present financial data to management
• Prior experience as Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accountant
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

Responsabilités

• Direct the organization's accounting practices, maintain fiscal records, and serve as a key financial advisor to leadership
• Own job costing precision and provide data for pricing and profitability analyses
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with Sales to maintain costing and pricing metrics for customer pricing
• Enhance operational tracking, production costing accuracy, and ERP reporting systems with IT/GM
• Oversee benefits renewal process and 401k plan administration
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
