Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience as Controller/Plant Controller or similar leadership role in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, inventory accounting, and variances.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial activities, including month-end close.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Oversee cost accounting, standard costs, inventory valuation, manufacturing variances, labor, overhead, and material costs.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes and monitor performance against targets.
• Partner with plant and operations leadership to improve profitability and reduce costs.
• Monitor key metrics such as labor efficiency, material usage, scrap, inventory, and margins.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Support inventory management, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, capex, and working capital.
• Coordinate internal and external audits as needed.
