Job summary

The Trelleborg manufacturing site is seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting and financial reporting activities. You will drive process improvements, ensure GAAP compliance, and manage capital investment projects while supervising a local accounting team.

Responsibilities include month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, KPI analysis, and production cost oversight to support operational goals and strong financial performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing
• Supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
• Experience with capital investment project accounting

Responsibilities

• Oversees month and year-end close processes, financial reporting and account analysis
• Prepares and analyzes monthly reports, forecasts, budgets and KPIs according to corporate and local requirements
• Ensures all internal control requirements are met
• Coordinates and documents all capital investment projects for approvals
• Oversees audits of bills of materials to ensure product costs are accurate
• Manages the local accounting team (AR and AP)
• Analyzes cash flow, cost controls, and performance measurements to support operational goals
• Ensures compliance with GAAP and auditing standards and drives process improvements
