Job summary

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is recruiting for a seasoned Controller to join a manufacturing client in Benicia, CA. This full-time, on-site role reports to leadership and focuses on financial integrity, cost accounting, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 10–20 years of Controller experience in manufacturing, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and CPA/CMA certification is a plus. Responsibilities include monthly reporting, internal controls, payroll, and leading the finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• 10+ years of Controller experience in manufacturing or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting functions and ensure smooth financial operations.
• Generate monthly financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, forecasts, and strategic insights.
• Provide financial guidance and analysis to support executive decision-making.
• Develop and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures to support business growth.
• Contribute to long-term financial planning and strategy.
• Present financial data and performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash flow activities, including receivables and payables.
• Administer payroll processing for salaried employees.
• Supervise and support the finance team, fostering professional development.
