The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, strong Excel skills (pivot, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP) and ERP proficiency, with excellent communication and leadership abilities. Salary is substantial for the Indiana market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is a MUST.
• Expert Excel skills with pivot tables and lookups.
• Proficiency with a major ERP system.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Month-end closings, financial reporting, and coordinating audits.
• Assist with annual budget and forecasting processes.
• Fixed assets maintenance and job costing/reporting.
• Inventory review and reporting metrics.
• Provide recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Establish and enforce policies and procedures to guide financial decisions.
• Protect assets by developing and maintaining internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Recruit, orient, and train financial staff; coach and discipline as needed.
