Job summary

Ulti-Mate Connector, Inc. in Melbourne, FL seeks a Controller to lead financial governance across the Precision Connections division, drive close processes, and deliver accurate reporting with strong internal controls.

This role reports to the Director of Finance and oversees accounting for both Melbourne and Minneapolis facilities within the Aptiv family. You will manage month-, quarter-, and year-end closes, mentor accounting staff, implement ERP enhancements, and ensure GAAP/SOX compliance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience with timely close and minimal audit adjustments.
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls and finance policies to safeguard assets and ensure GAAP/SOX compliance.
• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and revenue recognition.
• Deliver timely, high-accuracy financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and executive variance analyses for leadership.
