Job summary

DrinkPAK, a premier beverage manufacturer, seeks a Pennsylvania Controller to oversee the accounting team in Philadelphia. You will manage month-end closes, ensure GAAP compliance, and partner with operations to drive plant-level financial insight.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in manufacturing finance, 5+ years in leadership, and strong ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite). Excellent Excel skills and a strategic mindset are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment, with 5+ years in leadership.
• ERP systems proficiency (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite); implementation experience a plus.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Strong cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting in manufacturing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; high integrity and professionalism.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, trend analysis).
• Ensure GAAP compliance and external reporting requirements, including ASC 842 and 606.
• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end closing for the Pennsylvania location.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and production teams on plant activity and related financials.
• Provide timely financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff with strategic direction for the function.
• Support ERP system improvements and financial system enhancements.
• Continuously improve processes, SOPs, and risk mitigation.
