Job summary

A recruitment solutions company is seeking an Assistant Controller to manage the monthly and year-end close processes for a growing manufacturing organization. This role involves supervising the accounting team, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of manufacturing accounting experience and SAP exposure. Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience owning and managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process.
• Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Support manufacturing accounting activities including inventory and production reporting.
