Job summary

A leading recruitment company in Cleveland, Ohio is looking for a Producing Director to lead accounting operations in their manufacturing business. This hands-on role involves overseeing month-end close, maintaining the general ledger, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the manufacturing sector, with strong leadership skills and proficiency in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle. Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership roles.
• Manufacturing industry experience required.
• CPA or CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute the month-end and year-end close process.
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger; review journal entries.
• Manage and analyze standard cost accounting processes.
• Monitor daily cash flow and manage banking relationships.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls.
• Manage audit requests and ensure readiness.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
• Identify and implement efficiencies in close processes.
