Job summary
A leading recruitment company in Cleveland, Ohio is looking for a Producing Director to lead accounting operations in their manufacturing business. This hands-on role involves overseeing month-end close, maintaining the general ledger, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the manufacturing sector, with strong leadership skills and proficiency in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle. Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership roles.
Manufacturing industry experience required.
CPA or CMA preferred.
Responsibilities
Oversee and execute the month-end and year-end close process.
Maintain integrity of the general ledger; review journal entries.
Manage and analyze standard cost accounting processes.
Monitor daily cash flow and manage banking relationships.
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
Implement and maintain robust internal controls.
Manage audit requests and ensure readiness.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
Identify and implement efficiencies in close processes.
