Job summary

Ajulia Executive Search is hiring a cost accounting professional in Kentucky to manage standard costs, analyze variances, and support profitability by customer and part. You will lead month-end closes, forecasting, and capital expenditure reviews, partnering with plant leadership to drive cost improvements.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5+ years in cost accounting and manufacturing finance, with strong Excel skills and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/AS400).

• Support business unit controllers with standard rate inputs for quotations and profitability analysis by customer and part
• Lead month‑end close activities, financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Coordinate annual planning processes and oversee capital expenditure workflows, including economic justification for projects
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives, validate performance improvements, and contribute to plant KPI achievement
• Serve as a strategic financial partner to the Plant Manager and corporate teams, providing insights that support operational and business decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration, Economics, or Industrial Engineering
• 3–5+ years of experience in cost accounting, controlling, and manufacturing finance
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and prior hands‑on experience with major ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or AS400
• Skilled in forecasting, financial reporting, and analytical problem‑solving
• Background in manufacturing environments with solid knowledge of cost‑accounting principles

Salary: $120k - $125k
