Job summary

Nestlé USA is offering a Manufacturing Co-op for current undergraduates to gain real-world experience through 3-to-6 month rotations in a factory setting. You will explore Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Quality while contributing to projects and learning about Nestlé's processes.

Eligible students should be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, maintain a 3.0+ GPA, and be available to start between mid- and late spring 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Manufacturing, Food Science, Environmental and/or safety discipline, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management, or related field.
• GPA of 3.0 and above preferred.
• Flexible start date, ideally between mid- and late spring 2027.

Responsibilities

• Learn and deliver results for Nestlé through key projects, systems, and people.
• Complete a value-added project within the program timeframe.
• Participate in cross-functional collaboration to drive cost savings or operational efficiencies.
• Quality or process improvement projects using basic problem solving.
• Standardizing work processes to improve operations and training.
• Safety initiatives including improvements to the Confined Space and Lock Out-Tag Out programs.
• Cost Reduction: Reducing the amount of time and rework caused by line start-ups.
• Energy Conservation projects to reduce factory impact on the environment and detect opportunities for energy savings.
