Job summary

General Motors Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing CNC Engineer to support high-volume machining and grinding operations at our Grand Rapids facility. You will apply CNC engineering techniques, optimize tooling, and drive process improvements across production lines.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee vendors, and contribute to safety, documentation, and training initiatives. This onsite role requires a BS in Engineering and 3+ years of CNC experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years of CNC engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing and CNC processes.

Responsibilities

• Support CNC engineering for machining processes (ID/OD grinding, drilling, milling, turning).
• Provide technical direction and oversee vendors to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date manufacturing documentation and safety compliance.
• Assist in training and developing manuals and work instructions.
• Assist in project planning to meet schedule and budget.
