Job summary

Generous Brands in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to drive lean initiatives on the manufacturing floor. You will work with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Safety to identify opportunities, lead Kaizen events, and implement data-driven solutions.

The role emphasizes Lean Six Sigma, 5S, TPM, and visual management, plus coaching teams and presenting results to leadership. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position offering comprehensive benefits and a clear path

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing principles.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree; Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt.
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SPC, Excel, Minitab).

Responsibilities

• Lead CI initiatives including Kaizen events and projects.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate waste and reduce costs.
• Analyze process data and present findings.
• Coordinate CI projects and maintain documentation.
• Develop visual management tools and SOPs.
• Lead 5S, TPM audits and sustainment.
• Coach employees in Lean tools and CI principles.
• Communicate CI priorities to stakeholders.
• Present project results at plant meetings.
