Job summary

ABB Inc. in Selmer, TN seeks a Continuous Improvement professional to deploy and sustain improvement strategies within the local unit. You will mentor teams, lead projects, and drive operational excellence across manufacturing processes.

The role requires an engineering background with 5+ years in manufacturing, familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean, and knowledge of SAP plus Power BI/Power Apps. Travel about 10% and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred; 15 years' experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing, leading large projects and purchasing new equipment.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Tools, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis preferred.
• Experience with project management and driving change.
• Knowledge of SAP and MS Office; Power BI & Power Apps an added advantage.
• Travel required – 10% (Domestic and International).
• Candidates must have work authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit.
• Mentor and coach teams to achieve operational excellence and drive improved results.
• Lead and sustain projects to improve local business performance.
• Escalate roadblocks to stakeholders to remove blockers for CI initiatives.
• Ensure local ABB unit CI strategy aligns with global strategy.
• Provide training by developing and maintaining training modules and toolkits.
