Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis is seeking a Capability Acquisition Engineer to support the acquisition, installation, commissioning and production readiness of manufacturing equipment for the CMC program. You will work with internal teams and suppliers across the full lifecycle, from requirements to handover into production.

You will operate under guidance of senior engineers, gaining ownership of packages as you develop, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence in a world-class aerospace

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
US Citizen or Permanent Resident required.
Experience with manufacturing equipment and industrialization projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Specify, procure, install, commission and qualify new manufacturing equipment for the CMC program.
Develop equipment requirements, SORs and technical specifications.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders across FAT, SAT and handover to production.
Support equipment FAT/SAT planning, testing and acceptance activities.
