  • Must be able to work flexible hours including overtime.
  • Understanding of chemicals, measuring and blending.
  • Strong math and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read blending tickets and related production documentation.

Job Summary

The Blender combines raw materials within formula specifications to support production requirements while adhering to cGMP and quality standards. Performs all tasks in a safe manner observing cGMP and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while remaining productive at all times.
  • Stages ingredients.
  • Performs weighing and blending of formulas.
  • Maintains raw material integrity in storage areas.
  • Unloads Tanker trucks.
  • Works in accordance with all safety regulations and Best Sanitizers BOPs and work instructions.
  • Performs sanitation and cleaning of manufacturing equipment as assigned.
  • Performs weekly calibration verification of scales in blending/production areas.

  • Must have an understanding of how to read blending tickets, procedures and other documentation related to producing a blend that meets all quality tests.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Reachs and lift overhead.
  • Crouchs and lifts from floor level.
  • Ability to work in an elevated work area.
  • Operates a fork lift.
  • Walks and stands up to 95% of the time.
  • Works in temperatures between 50° F to 85° F.
PPE Required
  • Respirator, over boots, dust mask, glasses/goggles, face shield, gloves, apron; hairnet
  • Steel toe or composite toe safety shoes
