Job summary

Corvid Technologies LLC seeks a Munitions Program Manager to lead and integrate warhead technology development and fielding efforts. You will oversee program elements from concept to fielding, coordinating across engineering, manufacturing, and management to meet customer milestones and requirements.

The role requires leadership across teams, strong decision-making, and the ability to work with DoD leadership and customer staff.

Qualifications

Job description

Corvid Technologies is seeking a Munitions Program Manager to join our expanding team developing, testing, and integrating specialized weapon systems. Projects within the program focus on aspects of computational, theoretical, and experimental science and technology associated developing and fielding various types of specialty munitions and ESAD devices. Candidate will be a significant contributor to developing and integrating warhead technology as well as working to integrate Corvid products into fielded weapon systems.

The PM will oversee all elements of programs including technology development and managing customer milestones/requirements. The role will work across the organization to access Corvid expertise that efficiently develops, tests, and manufactures technology that meets our customers' unique requirements. The leader routinely interacts with senior leadership and l technical staff, DoD leadership, and all levels of customer staff to understand customer needs. The preferred candidate develops long-term working relationships, brings a solution based approach to challenges, and strong decision-making skills/communication ability to support Corvid programs from concept to fielding.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and manage (including budget authority) an integrated munitions technology development plan
  • Influence technical direction within Corvid, specifically through setting research/project vision and strategy while providing leadership and technical direction to technical managers
  • Champion Corvid technology and products through peer reviewed publications, internal and customer presentations, and participation in relevant technology exchange opportunities (this will include travel to customer sites, conferences, and other collaboration opportunities)

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance (preferred candidate will have an active clearance)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline (strong preference for a STEM discipline relevant to munition research) - equivalent level of demonstrated knowledge through professional experience will also be considered
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to, as well as lead a team conducting research and development in one or more of the following fields: materials, energetic materials, energy storage, modeling & simulation, data science, weapon design & engineering, hypersonics, and advanced manufacturing.
  • Preferred candidate will have demonstrated experience in the development of principles, theories, concepts, and techniques relevant to munitions research
