Job summary

G.A. Richards is seeking an energetic Application Developer to design and maintain web-based applications that automate business processes across the organization. The role collaborates with design and operation engineers to interface software with PLC hardware across manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong software focus with basic understanding of hardware, controls, and PLC integration to drive operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; and 2-4 years of experience in a business environment
• Experience in developing web-based applications and software tools

Responsibilities

• Full Stack Developer – designs and develops computer programs that automate specific business processes.
• Creative and responsive developer.
• Discuss/document application requirements with internal/external customers.
• Prepare flow charts, write application instructions and procedures for users, debug and document programs.
• Work with design engineers, operation engineers, IT and other staff to understand operational processes.

Education
