Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on automation or controls engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of PLC experience with strong programming and troubleshooting capabilities.
• 3+ years of Siemens PLC experience.
• 3+ years of SCADA experience supporting industrial/manufacturing systems.
• Experience with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix, CODESYS, or comparable systems.
• Experience with SCADA/HMI platforms including Ignition, FactoryTalk View, Wonderware/AVEVA, WinCC, or IF.
• Experience supporting manufacturing equipment, industrial controls, and automated production systems.
• Hands-on experience with commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, FAT/SAT, validation, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support for PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial control systems across manufacturing operation
• Develop, modify, test, and implement automation solutions for production equipment and process improvement
• Diagnose controls and automation problems and implement corrective solutions to minimize equipment downtime
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, startup, FAT/SAT, and validation activities
• Integrate automation and controls platforms with MES, historians, and other manufacturing systems
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve production issues and improve equipment performance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives involving manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation system
• Prepare and maintain functional specifications, validation documentation, change controls, and engineering records
• Assist with automation system testing, troubleshooting, and production readiness activities
