Job summary

G.A. Richards Company is seeking an energetic Application Developer to design and maintain web-based applications that automate business processes across the organization.

The role interfaces with design and operation engineers to connect software solutions with PLC hardware in manufacturing. A strong software focus with basic hardware knowledge is valued for driving operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
• 2-4 years of experience in a business environment.
• Experience with full stack web development and PLC/hardware interfacing is preferred.
• Ability to discuss and document application requirements with customers.

Responsibilities

• Full Stack Developer – designs and develops programs automating business processes.
• Develops applications touching manufacturing operations.
• Collaborates with design and operation engineers to interface software with PLC hardware.
• Assist senior/lower level developers on project tasks.
• Relocate to other business units as needed.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand operational processes.
