Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Manufacturing Controls & Automation Engineer for our Collierville, TN facility. The role focuses on designing, upgrading, and supporting automated control systems to improve reliability and efficiency across manufacturing lines.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot electrical and control systems, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
• Experience with conveyors, stamping presses, and automated manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support manufacturing control systems and automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, HMI, VFD, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Lead root-cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
