Carrier Climate Solutions in Collierville, TN is seeking a Production Automation Technician to join our engineering and maintenance team. You will drive advanced troubleshooting on PLCs, VFDs, and plant networks, lead process-improvement projects, and act as the go-to expert for the maintenance team to ensure peak line performance.

The role emphasizes equipment reliability, uptime, and documentation of control changes, with onsite, first-shift work and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

Associate degree in engineering technology or equivalent.
5+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
2+ years focused on automation/process controls.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced troubleshooting, installations, upgrades on PLCs, VFDs, plant networking and automated systems.
Lead high-impact projects to optimize manufacturing processes and implement advanced tech.
Serve as the technical go-to for the maintenance team, guiding troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance.
Maximize equipment reliability and uptime, ensuring consistent product quality.
Maintain meticulous documentation of program and system control changes and revisions.
