Job summary

Wipfli is seeking an Audit Manager for manufacturing industry clients in a hybrid Minneapolis setting. You will lead audit engagements, manage teams, and advise on GAAP and FASB updates, driving financial clarity and operational excellence.

The role requires a CPA, a bachelor's degree in accounting, 5 years in public accounting, and travel to client sites. You’ll collaborate with senior leadership and contribute to training and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA license required.
• 5 years of experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage audit, review, compilation engagements, and multiple teams.
• Partner with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners in risk assessment, audit procedures, and reporting.
• Oversee daily operations of the audit engagement: staffing, planning, budgeting, risk assessment, fieldwork, accounting reporting.
• Research and communicate guidance on complex accounting matters and transactions.
• Assist clients with GAAP compliance and the adoption of FASB updates.
• Serve as an instructor in the firm and participate in training programs and meetings.
• Take part in community, networking, and business development activities.
