Job summary

Wipfli is looking for an Audit Manager to lead engagements for manufacturing clients in the Denver area. You will oversee teams, ensure GAAP compliance and provide insightful financial guidance while building strong client relationships.

The role is hybrid with regular office, home, and client-site work. Bachelor's in accounting/finance and a CPA are required; 5 years public accounting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA license required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage audit, review, compilation engagements and multiple teams.
• Partner with Senior Managers, Directors and Partners in risk assessment, audit procedures and reporting.
• Oversee daily operations of the audit engagement including staffing, planning, budgeting, risk assessment and financial reporting.
• Research and communicate guidance on complex accounting matters and transactions.
• Assist clients with GAAP compliance and adoption of FASB updates; address concerns proactively.
