Job summary

Wipfli LLP is seeking an Audit Manager to lead engagements for manufacturing industry clients in a hybrid arrangement tied to the Denver, CO office. The role demands strong leadership, GAAP expertise, and clear client communication to drive operational excellence and financial clarity.

The position supports staffing, planning, budgeting, risk assessment, and collaboration with Senior Managers and Partners. A CPA and 5+ years in public accounting are preferred, with travel to client sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA license required.
• 5 years of experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Ability to travel to client sites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage audit, review, compilation engagements, and multiple teams.
• Partner with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners in risk assessment, audit procedures, and reporting.
• Oversee daily operations of the audit engagement, including staffing, planning, budgeting, risk assessment, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Research and communicate guidance on complex accounting matters and transactions.
• Assist clients with GAAP compliance and the adoption of FASB updates.
• Serve as an instructor in firm training programs and meetings.
• Lead in community, networking, and business development activities.
