Jasper Engines and Transmissions is seeking a Manufacturing Associate in Leavenworth, IN. The role involves assembling, disassembling, stocking parts, and moving materials across the facility. Training is provided to help you become proficient in the automotive engineering environment.

Typical hours are 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with overtime possibilities; benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, retirement plans, and a quarterly bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assembly: primarily responsible for mounting heads on units and installing push rods, lifters, and rockers
• Disassembly: remove parts, clean and prep for washing
• Parts/Puller stocker: pull and restock parts
• Conveyance: pick up and deliver orders within the facility
• Parts: prep, disassembly, washing, and final assembly of small parts
• Inspection: inspect each part for quality of finished product
• Repair: repair worn bolt holes, weld cracks, sand and grind to finish
• Distribution: operate forklift to load and unload trailers
