Bilingual Manufacturing Associate

Job Overview

This Associate will be working and reporting in our production environment and will be pulled to interpret and/or translate as needed. Must be fluent in English and Spanish. This individual will be responsible for preparing new Associates for life on the production floor by providing hands on training on the production floor. This role will also serve as needed as an interpreter and/or translator for daily communications between Associates and People Services representatives and/or supervisors (Group Leaders) (e.g., individual/team meetings, coaching, disciplinary action, safety intervention, medical, etc.). This individual will be responsible for listening to, understanding, and interpreting and/or translating verbal or written statements between English and Spanish-Speaking Associates. Must have excellent verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm
• Overtime available as needed by production area

Key Responsibilities

• Must have the ability to listen to, understand, and interpret and/or translate verbal or written statements between English and Spanish-Speaking Associates.
• Maintain strict confidentiality when involved in interpretation of situations that require sensitivity or discretion.
• When interpretation and/ or translation services are not needed by People Services this role will serve as a backup to Production.

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up 50 lbs.

• Starting rate $22.00
