Stewart Glass is seeking a Manufacturing Associate (General Laborer) to support fast-paced production in a glass manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes mechanical knowledge, tool use, and teamwork to keep the line running smoothly.

This full-time, hourly position offers overtime eligibility, night shifts with differential, and comprehensive benefits including medical, vision, dental, life insurance, and paid leave. Work is in person at Stewart Glass with a 4-on/4-off schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting preferred.
• Familiarity with assembly line processes advantageous.

MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATE (GENERAL LABORER)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Associate (General Laborer) to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be comfortable working with various tools and equipment. This role involves supporting production activities, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe work environment.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Operate and maintain assembly line equipment to ensure efficient production flow.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for fabricating and assembling components as needed.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials using forklifts, adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and tools to ensure proper functioning.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to promote a safe working environment.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with assembly line processes is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and forklifts is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time, hourly (eligible for overtime)

Work Location: In person @ Stewart Glass

Production Schedule:

• Night Shift 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (shift differential for nights)
• All Shifts: 4 days on, 4 days off
• Each employee gets roughly 104 OT hours paid at 1.5x base rate per year with 4 on 4 off schedule. Breaks are paid and considered ON-DUTY.

Pay Type: Hourly

Salary Range: $20 USD (plus shift differential for night shift)
