Titan International, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Associate I to operate heavy manufacturing equipment and prepare materials for production. You will follow standard work, load materials, and maintain inventory while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires reading and writing in English, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain an forklift/equipment license. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing/distribution operation preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting production and quality goals.
  • Must read, write and communicate in English.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid forklift or equipment license as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy manufacturing equipment to produce materials to specification requirements.
  • Set up the machine according to specifications and run production schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety specs.
  • Enter information into MRP system as required.
  • Perform basic maintenance and recognize when adjustments are needed to minimize rework.
  • Move materials and finished products as required to support production.

Job Title: Manufacturing Associate IIFLSA Status: HourlyGrade: 10Job Purpose Statement:The primary function of this position is for the employee to operate manufacturing equipment to produce products to the required specification at the expected rate of throughput. In addition, the employee will prepare equipment and materials for production, maintain material inventory, and operate general equipment to move products, supplies, and inventory to support production.Summary of Responsibility for each role:Operate heavy manufacturing equipment to produce materials to specification requirementsLearn and follow standard work for all areas as assignedEvaluate products through visual and dimensional inspection techniques to ensure conformance to tolerance and specifications and address any quality concerns found.Organize, load and move in process materials and finished products as required to maintain expected efficiencies.Abide by all safety and quality specificationsOperate powered industrial vehiclesCheck computer for production schedule and requirements for run(s)Set-up the machine according to specifications.Responsible for cleaning and some maintenance of the machine.Enter information into MRP system as requiredRecognize when routine adjustments are necessary and identify errors at the earliest possible stage to minimize production reworkMaintain a clean and safe work areaPerform additional production or manufacturing tasks as assignedEducation, Experience and Skills Required:High School diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 1 year in a manufacturing/distribution operation preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting production and quality goalsAbility to obtain and maintain a valid forklift or equipment license as needed or requiredMust read, write and communicate in EnglishErgonomic & Physical Requirements:Must be able to meet the Ergonomic as well as the Physical Base Score for this position.Standing or Walking up to 90% of the dayLift / Carry 25lb constantly, up to 100lb occasionallyPush / Pull 50lb constantly, up to 150lb occasionallyGrasp 75lbPinch 15lbLift bulky objectsAny lifting over 70 lbs. must be completed with assistance i.e. mechanical or individual.Full range of motion required: Cervical, Shoulders, Elbow, Wrist, Fingers, Hands, Truck Twist, and Feet.Ability to wear PPE as requiredWorking Conditions may include: moderate noise, moving mechanical parts, static shock, high temperatures.
