Job description

Classification: Hourly Shift: Second Shift - 10 (United States of America)

Responsibilities
  1. Machine Operation and Order Fulfillment (65%) – Prepare materials needed for order. Ensure fulfillment by reviewing the order and materials list, utilizing the RF gun to locate and pick materials, weighing materials based on order needs, and inputting information into the machine to prepare the batch. Start‑up machinery, review the production schedule, load bags into the machine, and coordinate with the batcher to determine when to run the machine. Ensure safety protocols are always followed.
  2. Housekeeping (15%) – Maintain proper housekeeping and maintenance of the worksite, including sweeping, vacuuming, removing packing materials, debris, and cleaning equipment.
  3. Staging and Shift Handoff (5%) – Prepare materials for the next shift to ensure a smooth transition and handoff with minimal downtime.
  4. Quality Control (10%) – Ensure the team is using raw materials that are not expired and following correct formulas. Collect samples for the QC team, adjust batches as needed based on results, and ensure the final product meets quality specifications.
  5. Equipment & Materials (5%) – Communicate with leadership and maintenance regarding equipment and materials needs, shortages, failures, required repairs, forklift inspection results, and other related matters.

  • Must pass pre‑employment physical.

  • Sitting: Able to sit 5% of the day.
  • Twisting/Bending: Able to twist/bend 20% of the day.
  • Squatting, Climbing and/or Crawling: Able to squat/climb/crawl 10% of the day.
