Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a warehouse hand to build, repair, and inspect wooden pallets in a fast-paced setting. You will lift materials, operate basic carpentry tools, and ensure high-quality results while following safety protocols.

Must be able to work overtime, tolerate extreme conditions, and wear PPE as required. Prior lumber or construction exposure is highly preferred for this on-site role in Jacksonville, FL.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with lumber, pallets, or warehouse work preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Must communicate effectively and be able to work overtime when needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work in extreme conditions including heat, cold, and air particulate
• Repetitively lift up to 50-75 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths in time
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including eye protection, ear protection at several locations, and safety shoes
• Close vision, distance vision, and color vision
