48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking an Automated Pallet Repairer in Birmingham, AL. This piece-rate role offers $14.00 per hour or $0.33 per piece, with shifts 6:00 AM–1:30 PM or 2:00 PM–9:30 PM. Location: Birmingham, AL 35234.

You will receive wood, repair and assemble pallets, ensure safety, and maintain high quality while meeting production targets. Competitive benefits and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing preferred.
• Quick hands and strong attention to quality.
• Effective communication skills and reliability.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive wood from saw shop and assemble pallets with a nail gun along set stringers.
• Stack finished pallets by hand for forklift movement to appropriate areas.
• Follow all safety procedures to protect yourself and others.
• Maintain high quality while achieving a high volume of finished goods.

Overview

As an Automated Pallet Repairer, you’ll get to build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood on a daily basis to fulfill all of our customers’ needs! This is a piece rate position, so the more pallets you repair, the more money you make!

Hourly Pay:

$14.00 or $0.33 piece rate(base on production)

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday 6:00 AM- 1:30 PM

Monday - Friday 2:00 PM -9:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers

• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas

• Ensure safety for yourself and others by following all procedures as set by the company

• Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining high volume of finished goods

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis

• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to work overtime as needed
