Job summary

Dexcom in San Diego seeks a Manufacturing Associate 3 to join the production floor, driving quality, efficiency, and operational excellence while mentoring teammates on daily operations, troubleshooting, and process improvements.

You’ll perform hands-on assembly, interpret complex drawings, work with R&D teams, document activities, and uphold safety and compliance. The role offers growth and comprehensive benefits within a global CGM leader.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of related manufacturing experience.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and work with cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly and fabrication of prototypes, engineering builds, and clinical builds.
• Interpret and execute complex work instructions and drawings.
• Collaborate with R&D engineers and cross-functional teams to support product development and process improvements.
• Document build activities, deviations, and observations for traceability.
• Safely operate lab-scale and pilot production equipment.
• Conduct in-process inspections and functional testing.
• Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, compliant work environment.
• Monitor build progress and communicate issues to stakeholders.
• Provide training and mentorship to manufacturing associates.
• Serve as SME for manufacturing processes and best practices.
• Support additional projects as assigned.
