Aerotek is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Associate in Vancouver, WA. This contract-to-hire role focuses on mechanical assembly of electrical box units, wiring, and door installation within a lean manufacturing environment.
Candidates will operate basic machines and tools, follow strict processes, and maintain quality and safety standards. The position is onsite in Vancouver, WA with a pay range of $19.80 per hour.
Our Manufacturing Associates are involved in operating machines and using tools for various assembly tasks for circuit board and electrical box units of various sizes by following established processes and production standards. This role focuses on mechanical assembly, pulling wires, installing doors, and operating basic machinery in a clean, organized lean manufacturing environment.
Assemble electrical box units of various sizes using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, wire cutters, and crimpers.
Pull and route wires accurately within electrical box assemblies according to specifications and work instructions.
Install doors and other mechanical components on electrical box units, ensuring proper fit and function.
Follow established processes and procedures for operating production and assembly machines safely and efficiently.
Perform mechanical assembly tasks with a high level of attention to detail and quality.
Use hand and power tools correctly and safely throughout the assembly process.
Stand, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift to complete assembly and production tasks.
Lift and move materials and products weighing up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in alignment with lean manufacturing principles.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and report any issues or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
Contribute to efficient production flow by following work instructions, meeting production targets, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Demonstrated experience using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, wire crimpers, wire cutters, and similar equipment.
Ability to follow established processes and procedures for operating assembly and production machines.
Mechanical aptitude and comfort with mechanical assembly tasks.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods during the workday.
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and high-quality mechanical assembly.
Experience assembling or putting items together, such as furniture, computers, cars, appliances, or similar products.
Prior manufacturing or production work experience is preferred.
On-the-job assembly experience in a production or manufacturing setting is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.
The pay range for this position is $19.80 - $19.80/hr.
