Responsibilities

  • Assist machine operators during change-over and preventive maintenance tasks.

MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATE

Location: Thomasville, North Carolina, United States, 27360

Responsibilities:
  1. Inspect manufactured products from the molding line to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with machine operators to correct defects.
  2. Assemble and thoroughly inspect C/M product quality throughout the production shift, including pulling molding from production containers and inspecting thoroughly.
  3. Report defects or quality issues immediately to the machine operator.
  4. Sign off on product quality and follow up to ensure defects are corrected.
  5. Document and record inspection results in a spreadsheet format.
  6. Perform basic shop floor tasks related to creating and releasing containers.
  7. Sort rejected planks (B stack), document, and record sorting results.
  8. Assist machine operators during change-over and preventive maintenance tasks.
  9. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proven experience in a quality-related, fast-paced production environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and be trained on product specifications
